A CDMA iPhone?

| October 6, 2010

Pop open the Champagne . . . Apple announced their plans to release a CDMA version of their iPhone.  Finally, those of us suffering with AT&T coverage will have an option. It’s unclear when the new phone, with a Qualcomm chipset, will be available to consumers. For me and many other frustrated users, the date cannot come soon enough.

One huge question will be whether or not the CDMA version of the  iPhone will be the same or a new form factor.  Knowing Apple, I’m betting on the latter. Oh well, I’ll gladly buy a new case if I can get coverage at my house.
