European Conference for Information Systems 2011 (ECIS): I was recently asked to review a submission for this year’s ECIS conference. It is a tremendous honor and I will be reviewing the research article titled: “An Integrative Multi-theoretical Approach To Investigating Antecedents and Consequences of IT Use in Fast Growth Small-to-medium Enterprises.”

Pepperdine University Civic Workshop: Twice a year a remarkable Pepperdine professor, Wayne Strom, invites several homeless shelters and their clients to participate in a day-long Civic Workshop. The day is truly magical as students and homeless people learn new tools to help us all deal with today’s challenging economy. I’ve participated in four previous Workshops and they are always among the most wonderful days of the year.
